What is DCG: Respawn?

DCG Respawn is our new initiative to bring high-quality gaming PCs to more players at a lower cost. Each machine is “Respawned”: carefully cleaned, refurbished, performance-tuned, and tested in-house to ensure it’s ready for action.

Every Respawn system is unique—built with proven components that still pack plenty of power. We provide transparent performance benchmarks in popular titles, along with detailed specs, so you know exactly what you’re getting. All Respawn PCs come with a 6-month warranty and look as fresh as a brand-new build.

Why buy a Respawn system?

Buying new doesn’t always mean better. With Respawn, your budget goes further—whether you’re looking for a solid entry-level build to get you into PC gaming, or a higher-end rig that delivers serious performance without the premium price tag.

You want your first Gaming PC, you have less than £500 to spend let's see how DCG Respawn gets you the best cost per frame in your favourite games below:

£500 Budget Example

  • £475 New Build (no GPU): Ryzen 7 5700G, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD
  • £475 Respawn Build: Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD

Cyberpunk 2077 (1080p, Low-Med, FSR):

  • 5700G = ~35 FPS
  • 2600 + GTX 1070 = ~65 FPS

The difference is clear: more frames, smoother gameplay, better value.

And by choosing Respawn, you’re also helping the planet—extending the life of quality components and keeping e-waste out of landfills.

Are there any downsides?

While most Respawn systems still have plenty of room for future upgrades the biggest limitation is the platform's upgrade path. Some older platforms may be less flexible a few years down the line. That said, every Respawn PC is designed to give you excellent performance right now at an unbeatable price.
