Intel Discontinue Variety Of CPU's

Intel have just announced they're are discontinuing a wide range of there CPU chipsets anything from there 13th gen to some of the 10th gen and 12th gen coming to an end soon.

What Does This Mean?

This will mean that you will not be able to buy the CPU's new in box directly from intel. Most suppliers will still have a lot of stock in so you will still be able to buy them new but once they are gone they will be gone for good.

Which CPU's Are Affected and When?

As of June the 28th 2024 Intel will not be producing a lot of the 13th gen CPU's as they seem to be having issues as lot of you will know about. The list of these CPU's are as stated below-

I5-13600KF

I7-13700K

I7-13700KF

I9-13900KS

I9-13900KF

I9-13900K

However, you will still be able to buy these CPU's from stock shelves but they have stopped making them. If you have got one right now in your system it might be worth upgrading to the 14th generation or you could wait to see what intel release next.

The next big change will be happening from the 1st of July 2025 when intel will discontinue it's 10th gen CPU's which is not surprising but they are also bringing a halt to the 12-12900KS that was only released 2 years ago. This does mean it is time to say good bye to the I5-10400f the best budget CPU intel have released.

Conclusion

Don't worry too much as you will still be able to buy most of these CPU's but the price may fluctuate a little bit. We are looking forward to see what new CPU intel will release and see if they will end the AMD vs Intel battle once and for all.
