Do you subscribe to Avast for your digital security? This move is completely free and won't affect your existing subscription expiration date. This means you'll get even more features for the same price.
The Upgrades Explained
To break it down a bit, the three packages are being renamed and additional features are being added to provide you with even more security and peace of mind for your online security. If you receive Avast from Direct Computers you should have or will be receiving a product email from Avast that will provide you more detail and instructions.
Avast Business Antivirus is becoming Essential Business Security
This still retains all its original features plus:
- Mobile protection
- Password and webcam protection
- Data shredder
- Additional server features (Exchange and Sharepoint server protection)
Avast Business Antivirus Pro is becoming Premium Business Security
This still retains all its original features plus:
- Mobile protection
- VPN
- Password protection
- USB protection*
Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus is becoming Ultimate Business Security
This still retains all its original features plus:
- Mobile protection
- USB protection*
- Patch management*
*USB Protection and Patch Management services are available in the Online Management Platform, Avast Business Hub. These services are not available as unmanaged and don't support MacOS at this time.
