Performance Rating

So, you want to know more about how we rate our custom pc's as we all know there is a lot of information out there so we have made it more simple so you have piece of mind when buying your own custom pc from us.

Gaming

This is on a scale of 1 to 5 on how well the PC can play games. The main that determines this score is based on the graphics card that you have chosen, some of our builds do not include the a graphics card they use intergraded graphics so it is built into the CPU. You can also see the how well the pc will play some games by looking at the average FPS counter on some of our builds. For someone who only sometimes games or plays lighter games you would be looking for a rating of between 1 and 2, someone who plays more regular will want a rating of between 2 and 4 and then those heavy gamers amongst us will want at least 4 if not 5 star for smoother crystal clear gameplay.

Processing

This is the day to day usage of the PC such as surfing the web, watching videos, documents and editing/ moving files or images. This rating is mostly made up from, you guessed it, the processor or as we call them the CPU. There will be other components that make up this rating such as the amount/ speed of your ram and functionality of the PC. Most day to day usage could have a rating of around 1 or 2 stars. Those who want to use the PC for game play would want a rating of around 3 or 4 and then those who want to use it as a simulator or heavy gaming and media editing will want it to be as high as you can get.

Upgradeability

The best part of owning a custom PC is being able to tinker with it and upgrade it yourself if you need to rather than buying another new full system. This is mostly dependent on the motherboard that is inside the machine and the power supply that is fitted to the back of the case. Many prebuilt systems have motherboards in that can't be upgraded or power supply's with no extra cables, we do not stand for this so we make each system as easy to upgrade as possible. We would suggest that even-though you can upgrade the system yourself you should get in-touch with one of our experts who will be able to guide you through the upgrades and then get a technician to fit the parts for you, this is in-case you have any warranty that you would like to keep.

Cooling

The better the rating of the cooling system then the quieter and more efficient the PC will be. This rating is based on the case design, how much airflow the case lets through and the CPU cooler that you have chosen. Those that are doing basic computing will be alright with the stock cooler which will be around 1 to 3 stars and then those that are doing more intense work on the PC such as gaming will want more cooling.
