HP proporciona un potente software de instalación para agilizar la instalación del controlador y las aplicaciones de administración de Emulex HBA. Como suite de gestión centralizada, HBAnywareT incorpora tecnología de agente que proporciona descubrimiento, generación de informes y gestión de HBA locales y remotos. Los HBA Emulex cuentan con una arquitectura exclusiva basada en firmware, que permite actualizar el firmware y las funciones sin desconectar el servidor ni reiniciarlo, y sin la necesidad de actualizar el controlador. Esto proporciona protección de la inversión del hardware del usuario final y garantiza un tiempo de inactividad mínimo.
