How to Install RustDesk (Step-by-Step Guide)

1. Go to the official download page

Open your web browser and visit:

This is the official RustDesk download page where you can choose your operating system.

2. Choose your operating system

On the download page, select the version for your device:

• Windows → Download .exe
• macOS → Download .dmg
• Linux → Download .deb, .rpm, AppImage, or Flatpak
• Android → Download APK or use GitHub release
• iOS → Install from the App Store

3. Download the installer

Click the correct download button for your system.

• Windows users will get a file like: rustdesk-setup.exe
• macOS users will get: RustDesk.dmg
• Linux users will get a package file depending on distro

Wait for the download to finish.

4. Install RustDesk

🪟 Windows

1. Open the downloaded .exe file
2. Click Next through the installer
3. Choose install location (or leave default)
4. Click Install
5. Click Finish

🍎 macOS

1. Open the .dmg file
2. Drag RustDesk into Applications
3. Open RustDesk from Applications
4. Approve permissions if prompted

🐧 Linux (Ubuntu/Debian example)

1. Open Terminal in the download folder
